Campbell River

Start Campbell River

Start the journey in Campbell River and get geared up for Vancouver Island riding at Swicked Cycles. Head for laps on Radar Hill or at Snowden Demonstration Forest to warm up the legs and enjoy pints of beer at Beach Fire Brewing.

Quadra Island

Stop 1 Quadra Island

Jump on a ferry and ride the trail network of Quadra Island North. Tour the island and surrounding area by kayak on a wildlife watching tour and grab fish and chips at the Hariot Bay Pub.

Cumberland

Stop 2 Cumberland

Cumberland is a biking wonderland. Stay overnight at the biker-friendly Riding Fool Hostel and discover the network of 175 trails in the Cumberland Forest. Ride the downhill bike park at nearby Mount Washington and try the local brew at Cumberland Brewing Co.

Stop 3 Hornby Island

Tuck in for an overnight on Hornby Island (or neaby Denman Island) and explore 80 km (50 mi) of singletrack trails. Enjoy lunch at Forage Farm & Kitchen and hop in the ocean at Tribune Bay for a post-ride cool down.

Nanaimo & Gabriola

Stop 4 Nanaimo & Gabriola

In Nanaimo, explore five different trail areas near downtown. Then head to Gabriola for a few singletrack rides and a laid-back atmosphere. Don't miss a chance to grab a drink and some grub at Surf Lodge and Pub.

Finish Duncan & North Cowichan
