How long have you been a photographer?  Most of my life, 12 years as a full time professional.

What or who got you started in photography? My father was an avid hobby photographer had a nice collection of gear for as long as I can remember. Anther one of his interests was car racing, he was quite involved (and still is) with a local motorsport racing club and we would go to the race track quite regularly. I was fascinated with trying to capture the cars in motion. Getting the prints back from the lab to see what worked (and what didn’t) was always exciting.

How would you describe your style? Adaptable, making the best of my surroundings, minimal set up, not posed.

What camera do you like to shoot with?  The one that’s in my hands. haha. I’ve been using Nikon slr’s since I’ve started so thats what I’m most familiar and comfortable with.

Do you shoot other action sports?  If so which ones?  Yes, mostly alpine skiing and always interested in other opportunities.

What has been your most memorable assignment and why? I travelled to Cyprus island (Mediterranean Sea) in 2010 with the Ride Guide crew including Steve Romaniuk and Chris Akrigg. It was my first trip ‘over seas’ and it was… an experience… The 40+ degree heat didn’t help either, the crew made the best of it but let’s just say what happens in Cyprus stays in Cyprus.

Who is your favourite rider to shoot and why? I’m not one to choose favourites, It’s awesome to be able to work with people who are passionate about the sport and provide a unique point of view. I’m  always keen to work with different riders.

What is your favourite trail and why?  Haha! I can’t tell you that 😉 Though, I do love riding the trails that I had a hand in building.
