From raw, technical singletrack to doubletrack trails for the beginners and scenic cruisers, Quesnel has trails to satisfy all skill levels and abilities. The panoramic view from the top of Dragon Mountain is worth the ride up along the scenic climbing trail (or quick lap seekers can shuttle to the top, too). Once there, experienced riders can loop infinite trails on some of the gnarliest rocky terrain in the region or beginner's can choose gentle rides down.

If you’re looking for a trail network that you can ride all day, Wonderland is only minutes from downtown with scenic views of Dragon Lake and all of the blue and black singletrack you need. While the South Quesnel Park pump track and the Quesnel Bike Park next to the Quesnel Arts and Recreation Centre offer the ideal terrain and features for all ages to practice bike skills.

Getting here & Trail Access

Smack in the middle of British Columbia, Quesnel is located in the Cariboo along Highway 97 between Williams Lake and Prince George.

From the Lower Mainland, follow Highway 1 east to Cache Creek and then take Highway 97 north. From Northern BC, follow Highway 16 to Prince George and then take Highway 97 south.

Driving Distances & Times:

  • Vancouver - 661 km (410 mi), 7 hours 50 minutes
  • Prince George - 121 km (75 mi), 1 hour 30 minutes
  • Kamoops - 400 km (249 mi), 4 hours 30 minutes

To get a more direct route to Quesnel, fly to Quesnel Municipal Airport with Central Mountain Air.

Another option is to board a flight with WestJet or Air Canada and fly to Prince George Airport (YXS), which is located 121 km (75 mi) north of Quesnel.
