The Changemakers film series tells the stories of characters in the mountain bike industry who have impacted their community without the need for the spotlight and attention, putting their energies into making a difference on the ground with the overall goal of getting more people on bikes and making the sport more accessible to a broader community.

OSOYOOS - Matthew Williams 'Volunteerism'

In small-town communities, volunteerism can be the driving factor in a project's success. In Osoyoos, BC, a town more well-known for lakes and wineries, the sport of mountain biking is bubbling to the surface with the help of Matthew Williams.

When Matt moved to Osoyoos from Revelstoke, BC, he knew that if he wanted to ride trails, he would have to build them. With the help of a handful of volunteers, Matt has created a network that is now on the radar of mountain bikers throughout British Columbia and beyond.

Changemakers Okanagan celebrates the vibrant communities and stunning natural beauty of British Columbia's Okanagan Valley. Discover the passionate individuals who instill pride for this remarkable place through the exhilarating world of mountain biking. From local riders to dedicated advocates, witness how their love for the sport forges community and shapes the very spirit of the Okanagan. Prepare to be inspired by the dedication and camaraderie that define these Changemakers. Watch the rest of the series on YouTube.
