Getting Here & Trail Access

Driving to Whistler along the aptly-named Sea-to-Sky Highway is one of the most breathtaking journeys you'll ever take.

Towering snow-capped mountains, lush green rainforests and fast-flowing, turquoise rivers will be forever etched into your memory while dring the Sea-to-Sky Highway to Whistler.

Driving Distances & Times:

  • Vancouver - 120 km (75 mi), 1 hour 30 minutes
  • Seattle - 350 km (217 mi), 4 hours
  • Kelowna - 500 km (310 mi), 6 hours

Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is the closest airport with flights in and out of many international destinations, located two hours south of Whistler.

Floatplane service with Harbour Air also connects Whistler to Victoria and Vancouver from May to October. Or a private helicopter charter can get you direct to Whistler from YVR.
